About the Author – Amna Fatimah
Amna Fatimah is a dedicated Food Safety Officer at the Sindh Food Authority (SFA), where she plays a vital role in ensuring public health through the implementation of food safety regulations across the Karachi Division. With a strong foundation in nutritional science and food quality control, she brings both technical expertise and a passion for public welfare to her work.
Prior to joining the SFA, Amna served as a Nutritional Consultant at Morinaga Nutritional Foods, Inc., where she contributed to promoting health-focused nutritional practices. Her experience also includes research and analytical roles during internships at prestigious institutions such as the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) and Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Private) Limited, where she gained hands-on exposure to quality assurance, operations management, and analytical testing.
When she’s not ensuring your food is safe, Amna is keen on sharing her knowledge to educate others about food hygiene, safe practices, and the science behind everyday nutrition.
